"Small shop....Big Sandwiches!"

It's really deceiving....
you can walk into any sandwich shop, supermarket, deli, wherever you choose to eat and the promises of "piled high" meats, fresh bread and quality coldcuts surround you,
but....
is that what you are REALLY getting?

As many of our customers will admit (as well as food critics), Meatheads is "the" place to go for lunch in Ocean County. Yes, we are located in a small store, on a small block, in one of the smallest towns in NJ, but our sandwiches are worth a big look!

Starting back to when I was a child working at my father's delicatessen, the Robert Treat, in Westfield, NJ, I can remember the smell of fresh bread, meats and vegetables. My father, an immigrant from Germany believed in the simple foundations of food and customer service. Give your customer the best sandwich you can and they will be back for more!

So here I am, so many years later, and I can still hear my father tell me not to buy the commercial cole slaw, but to make it myself. We still use our old family recipe for cole slaw, made fresh daily, featured on many of our "sloppys."

We only use Boar's Head "top-shelf" coldcuts, no compromising! And when I say we "pile it high," we really do! Ask our customers that order a sandwich and have to have it wrapped up for their dinner that night!

So today, I invite you to stop by one of these days. I promise you that I will provide you with the freshest sandwich possible and I doubt you will be heading back to that "other" sandwich shop anytime soon!
